Inside my very favorite San Francisco restaurant Palio there once was an entire wall with a sculpture pushing outward depicting a bareback horse race from Medieval times in Sicily. I photographed part of this impressive industrial art at Thanksgiving dinner in 2013. Unfortunately, this work of art did not survive the reboot of this impressive restaurant.
